A long-standing partner of the creative agency Sid Lee, we act as an internal studio for all their creative production needs.

The project

A national launch of the new Botanicals flavour for Guru, in partnership with the creative agency Sid Lee.

The challenge

Newly listed on the stock market, Guru needed to make an impression with the launch of its new product by creating its first ever 360° national campaign.

  • Work with the complex media plan involving a large number of placements and communication channels
  • Reinforce Guru’s organic positioning through visual retouching
  • Iterate and adapt a large number of visuals while respecting the creative vision of the Agency in every Canadian metropolis
  • Adhere to colorimetry requirements for each deliverable

The solution

M&H was able to mobilize its best technical resources and assemble a tailored team for this ambitious project.

  • Implement our “fast-track” process between our retouchers and graphic artists on the one side and the agency’s artistic and creative directors on the other
  • Integrate the production calendar, which was tied to the media plan, to ensure that the campaign’s tight deadlines were met and that the workflow between the creative agency, M&H and the client ran optimally
  • Create a tailored team with our internal resources, including four senior retouchers and three technical graphic artists, to ensure Guru’s brand guide was respected

 

The results

An impeccable visual campaign across all print and digital media:

  • A total of 137 assets
  • Artistic retouching, image creation and photomontage of 13 key visuals
  • Visuals iterated for 27 digital and print formats
  • Visuals produced for 12 media channels
  • Tight collaboration between the creative agency, the photographer and M&H
